Biography
Jennifer Rogers received her a MFA degree at the University of Minnesota in 2007. She received her
Associates of Arts degree in 2000 from Kirkwood Community College. As a member of Phi Beta Kappa
she went on to graduate cum laude from Coe College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2003.
Rogers is currently working out of her St. Paul studio pursuing a career as a professional artist and teacher.
Rogers' work continues to originate from her experiences as a wife, mother, daughter and
the companionship roles as laborer and consumer. Rogers was recently nominated for the
Dedalus Foundation Fellowship. She participated in The Third and Fourth Annual Marge
Brown Kalodner Graduate Student Exhibition in Philadelphia, PA in 2006 and 2007.
In the summer of 2006, Rogers, in collaboration with Professor Mark Pharis, received a
Graduate Research Professional Partnership grant from the University of Minnesota that
resulted in a large-scale installation titled Lifetime Piling Up. Rogers is currently
working out of her St. Paul studio and is pursuing a career as a professional artist and teacher.
